I’m not waiting for a card to train like a pro, eat like a pro, or carry myself like a pro. But the card matters. This is the work of earning it.

LIVE ROAD TO PRO COUNTDOWN
October 3, 2026 · North Las Vegas, Nevada
THE LONG WAY BACK
I was obsessed with lifting and bodybuilding as a teenager. A motorcycle accident at 15 interrupted that path. I couldn’t walk for a year, went through another surgery, and then spent another year unable to walk.
Life moved forward. I got married, became a father, reached 220 pounds, struggled, rebuilt, found my way into strength and conditioning, opened ObstaCourse Fitness, and eventually came back to the thing that first lit me up.
When I hired my first bodybuilding coach and entered Men’s Physique at 44, it wasn’t a new passion. It was a return.
2025 · THE BREAKTHROUGH
At the Samson “Ace of Stage,” I won Masters 45+ and Open Class D. Those medals proved I belonged—but they weren’t the finish line.
Five weeks later, I stepped onstage at the Steve Karr Classic in Las Vegas at 165 pounds. Standing beside athletes carrying more size gave me an honest picture of the next level: more lean tissue, more back thickness, stronger abs, and a better presentation of everything I’ve built.
I didn’t leave with the card. I left with clarity.

CHAMPION IS AN IDENTITY I PRACTICE.THE WORK NOW
I’m already a champion. I can say that because I’ve earned wins—and because being a champion is bigger than a result. It’s the standard I bring to training, posing, cardio, meals, recovery, and the small decisions nobody sees.
I’m also honest about where I stand: I’m an NPC Men’s Physique athlete. I do not have an IFBB Pro Card yet. That distinction keeps the goal real and keeps me hungry.
This is the same work I help people do inside Shred Kulture: stop treating yourself like a background character. Step into the identity you’re building, back it with action, and keep doing the work until the outside result catches up.
“I have to believe in myself if I’m going to help other people believe in themselves.”
