GRIT. FREEDOM. CREATION.COPY-READY BIO
Keith Kern is an NPC Men’s Physique champion, founder of ObstaCourse Fitness, and creative builder behind Shred Kulture, Kern Imaging, and Jammy Journeys. He entered bodybuilding at 44 and is documenting his pursuit of an IFBB Pro Card while building businesses, communities, and a bigger life in public.
Keith Kern started lifting as a teenager before a serious motorcycle accident at 15 left him unable to walk for a year, followed by another surgery and another year off his feet. Decades later—after raising a family, rebuilding his health, working in strength and conditioning, and founding ObstaCourse Fitness in 2017—he returned to the passion that first lit him up. Keith entered NPC Men’s Physique at 44 and won Masters 45+ and Open Class D at the 2025 Ace of Stage. Today he is pursuing an IFBB Pro Card while building Shred Kulture, Kern Imaging, and Jammy Journeys and sharing the work of becoming stronger, more creative, more visible, and more fully himself.
